Default "Opinion Square Surveys"

I've been checking out survey sites. I'm disappointed in most. You do surveys and only get entered into sweepstakes or drawings. I've only found a handful I'm interested in. Some I've done for a while.

Anyway, this site, Opinion Square Surveys, looked pretty good as far as what you get. You get points that can be converted into gift cards. BUT I had to install "NSInstaller- Install Shield Wizard". I wasn't sure what it allowed them access to in my computer, so I didn't do it. There was a LONG agreement form to read through. Part of it sounded like they would know where I went on my computer. Because of banking, Paypal, shopping, I didn't know if that would let them know account #s and passwords.

Am I being overly cautious? Anyone out there use them and are happy?

I dont do any survey site i need a special browser for. I also dont use greenfield's SAM or consumer input because i dont need anything else running in the background on my computer. consumer input really screwed up my computer and i am still not sure i got all of it off my computer.

I would recommend zoompanel and harris poll online. you get points that are redeemed for prizes and i have cashed out several times from each. I have also won the sweepstakes at several sites. But there are many others in comparison that i would consider a waste of time. Not sure i could list them here though.

I don't do any surveys. I did once, and I realized it wasn't worth the spam & junk mail. I also did that one thingy where you apply for a credit card & you get a $50 gift certificate. I'm still waiting.

I will tell you this, a few years ago, I applied for a bunch of survey sites. I took surveys daily. Worked my behind off, just about. I added up the total I "won" and "earned" in a year and it was less than $100. So, depending on if you like to take the surveys or just want the chance, you might want to. I would strongly suggest the ones where you "earn" points for money and products. NFO or MFO is one of them. That is where I earned most of my money.

I use my points. Its a combination of surverys and you can also earn points by purchasing from businesses on their website. Points are then converted into gift certicates. I cash mine in before vacation or Christmas for gas cards or walmart GC. You also get points for anyone to recommend to their site and they give your name. Its simple to do, they send you emails and you can either respond to it for 5 points or delete it if you dont want to. You do not have to do any downloads for them either.

Ohh yes.. AOL Keyword OpinionPlace!! I've been doing these faithfully for about 5 months now and my aol bill is reduced by 4.50 (not a whole lot but thats the equivalent of 90 recycling cans lol)

I have also found surveysavvy a nice way to make a few bucks now and then.

I don't fit with mainstream America I guess. I signed up for some survey sites but find that often when I fill out the first few questions I get a message saying thanks for your time but you are not what we are looking for. I do like mypoints though. I have recieved several gift cards from them. I also like harrispoll and have recieved several gift cards from them. I don't know what I signed up for that keeps sending me products to try and give my opinion on. Maybe NFO, I like this one.

Looks like I am going to skip the survey sites. Better to spend time and energy elsewhere for a better return. Thanks for the heads up folks!

Oh my do you all have me confused or what? I am new to this survey thing. Here is the thing I work online for a good 8-12 hours on the weekends and sometimes its slow but I have to be logged in so I thought doing some survey's would earn me some $ or perks. Not looking for a great deal but it would be nice to get some random 5.00 in the mail every now and again. So any opinons on a place i should start there are so many you all listed. I did set up an email just for it though. one thing i HAVE to avoid is pop ups though can not deal with them when I Am working.

I have been doing surveys for years, generally making $200-300 per month. You really have to know which survey sites are good ones and which aren't.

Talking Opinion Square

I have been with Opinion Square for over a year and I have never got paid anything. My points are at 900- 100 short from a reward. You are wasting your time with this one.

I personally do not like survey sites. I use one not mentioned here, and while I have so far gotten two free subscriptions, to a magazine and Wall Street Journal print edition, it takes a LOT of work to get even that, and they do not pay cash in any form . Would rather get cash for all that hard work, when you take a lot of them.
