I have priorities and goals and running up new bills is not one of them.

I don't think i want to bother with the lender as I don't want that mark on my record. I will just cut everyother corner to get it done.

Yesterday we hadn't figured out but I think we have a handle on it now.
Thanks!

I would never ever in any circumstance take a payday loan or title loan or anything like that at all. Have you ever seen the fine print on those loans, even if you think you have it paid in full there may be some fees still lurking around

Yay! Congratulations on the new job. May it make your life more fulfilling, less worrisome, and easier financially.

cschin4---"I don't mean to say it won't help. Of course it will. But, many people think there troubles would be gone if only they made a bit more money. In reality, most people continually up spend according to their income."

But Irmanator is not most people! With the increases in income my family has had over the years, we have increased not only our spending, but our saving. No reason to think Irmanator won't do that as well. Besides it sounds like Irmanator has been working on getting a better job for six years. She's no doubt thought about the difference it can make. She's probably had out the calculator and some budget schemes. I rather imagine she understands what difference $3 an hour can make for her, better than we could guess.

$3hr is slightly more than a little raise in my income bracket.

I feel excited about the new job, I will be taking care of people with disabilities. I am that type of person. The previous job was just to pay bills untill my name came up on the list.
Congrats! Remember, its really not about the magnitude of the income but the sustainability of the income that matters. I wish you best of luck in your new endeavour!

But Irmanator is not most people!

That's true. I was just speaking in general and I think this is great news for Irmanator and sounds like she will really enjoy the new job. So, I just want to tell her Congrats and way to go. And, it is great to see hard work and thrift pay off!
