Default darn cats

I have an appt on tuesday to get them (2) fixed but the girl went into heat today. So I alternate between having one in the dog training cage and one having freedom. The caged one whining.

My girl cat has a heart murmor, so when we got her, we were going to hold off on spaying just because the heart murmor may cause complications during the surgery. She's an indoor cat and our other cat is neutered so no risks for kittens. A few months later she went into heat and I couldn't stand all her meowing/groaning so we took her in and took the risk. She made it out fine and everyone is happier (including her!)

Hope everything went well with your kitties.

My mom is having her new cat spayed tomorrow- she took the cat in off the street 4 days before she had kittens. We have one of the baby kitties now that they are a few weeks weaned, so we'll be making that neuter appointment before too much longer!

Our cat is a year old now and spayed. But she went into heat before we had a chance to take ker in and the howling at night drove me crazy. She'd sit on the stairs and her meows would bounce off the walls and echo through the whole house. Thank god that's over with!
