What Maat said maybe true it's anyone's guess but remember the key economic indicators that Matt's referring to are usually the last ones in the recovery process to show any improvement or turn around. The first turn around in the recovery phase is usually in the stock market and consumer spending. Believe it or not both of those are on track thus far...

Just what I was going to say. The stock market usually recovers at least 6 months before the overall economy. That could have us seeing a recovery toward the end of the year, which is what a lot of folks seem to be anticipating.
