Default Ebay shipping tip

This isn't really a money-saving tip. Just a little tidbit that I find useful. I ship many items in the free USPS Priority mail boxes I get through the post office, but sometimes I need a different size box than what I get from them. I save a bunch of boxes I get at work and use those. The problem is they usually have several labels on them from the original vendor and shipping. You can black them out with a marker, but it looks a lot nicer if you remove them.

If you use your blowdryer to warm the label, it will usually peel right off without tearing the box. It makes everything look much nicer and cleaner.

I'll have to try that. I usually use a fat black marker.

Sometimes I'll open up the box, turn it inside out, and re-glue it.

I never thought of the hair dryer to get the labels off. Thanks for the tip!

I have several eco-friendly family members. They would never remove a label, as it has to go in the garbage. Strictly markers for them.
