also BIL, SIL, FIL, MIL is brother/sister/father/mother in law.

another reason why people don't use W for Wife and use DW instead, is that W could be a name for someone - a lot of people use first initials for friends instead of writing their real names.

Other financial terms not exclusive to this site:
HCOLA=high-cost-of-living area
ARM=adjustable-rate mortgage
HELOC=home-equity line of credit
FPU=Financial Peace University (a Dave Ramsey thing)

That's all I can think of right now that I don't believe has been mentioned.

And on the off-topic thing, I think Buchanan is the bad one from early in our history, but I can't remember the details right now--but basically as corrupt and inept as they come, right up there with Harding and Bush 43.
