My daughter and I are going to the Philadelphia Flower Show this week. We go every year. As I did last year, I went to one of the sponsoring stores the other day to buy tickets. It is cheaper to get them in advance. Thinking I was being smart and thrifty, I bought 2 adult tickets for $22 each. They are $24 at the door. I never bothered to ask about child tickets. DD is 13 and pretty much everywhere we go, she now pays the adult rate. Tonight, I was looking at the Flower Show brochure that came in the paper and it turns out "child" is up to 16. I could have paid $13 for her ticket instead of $22. Serves me right for assuming.
