Default Noticed a Change in Your Spam Folder?

Emails that went to my spam folder used to have 2 themes in common:
1. Sex (buy cheap Viagara, meet hot singles, etc.)
2. Consumerism (where to buy knockoff designer watches, etc.)

These days they're all about employment (I found you a Job, Get your Nursing Degree for only $100, etc)

Anyone else noticed this?

Gmail does a great job with its spam filter, so I never even bother paying any attention to what's in it. But since you mentioned it, I cracked open my spam folder, just curious (ugh.... always a mistake).

I don't see anything too reflexive of the economy in the content--primarily all for pills, singles, and watches. I guess the closest I have to what you've observed is that there are also a few saying "buy a degree!".

Yes, I've noticed that too. I keep an eye on my spam box because too many times legitimate emails tend to get tossed in there.
