Question Points and colored names- Jeffrey/Nate

Quick question - If we buy a colored name with our points, can we choose the color? For example, if I gave you a hex code for the color I wanted, could you use it? I don't have enough points yet (though I still think trading in my journal $ for points woudl be great!) but I can see down the road wanting to buy the color option...a nice DivaTribe pink.

Yep, you can type in a color code or name either one will work. Also later if you decide to, you can change the color, or remove the color.

I tried it, but it didn't work. I tried to go back and see if adding a # in front of the hex code would work, but it won't let me back in.

Nope - I'm using Firefox on a Mac. I'll check it in other browsers.

Strange. I saw it early yesterday and it was pink, but now it's back to normal. Another issue for Nate to look into...

Hmmmmm. Well, I just looked with IE XP and it is pink there. I was looking at it with FireFox when I posted earlier and with it is the normal color. The strange thing is that with FireFox my name comes out green, as does princessperky's.

In Safari it looks pretty But I tend to use Firfefox exclusively. I do see the orange and green names, however.

If you hit the "post reply" button at the top it will give a bunch of colors in the drop down box. I think if you use any of these colors, they should show up with any of the browsers. If you type in a specific color code, Internet Explorer will pick it up, but not all other browsers.

Magenta might work for you...if you"d like to give that a try, let me know and I will place some points in your name so you can change it without any penalty.
