The local Detroit News is without a doubt very liberal. Thier endorsements for political positions etc. are generally democratic. When it was time to vote fo rpresident etc, it literalyy listed the entire ballot in the paper and how it endorsed voting down to the smaller items and issues.
Detroit can be viewed a blue collar town, but there are plenty of Republican areas and people around here so I am not sure how they would feel about that. I enjoy reading the paper b/c it gives me a synopsis of current issues. I don' tneed to listen to an interview of each senator or person with an opion ad nauseum, just give me the details of what actually is happening. |
