Question Public Forums?

Hi! I was looking at my profile and was wondering what the section about Public Forums was about. Thanks!

Good question! I didn't know, i had to look it up

A little hard to explain but its like the 100 post club we have set up here, except a "public" group is one that anyone can join. The 100 post club can only be joined after you have 100 posts so it doesnt qualify as public.

I don't mean to be dense, but I still don't understand. What would some one, say me, do with it?

All it means is if the 100 post club was a public group, anyone could "join it" and go into that forum. To join it you would go into your control panel, and somewhere in there would be the option to join it. I guess we could setup a test one and see what its like.

While I don't always agree with moneyrant, I think he is a valuable member here and I don't know if making a separate area is the right thing. He makes me think and questions which I think is good. Even though he is a bit too blunt sometimes in my opinion, he doesn't attack people personally which I find in a lot of other forums.

Oh no, I didn't mean anything against Moneyrant at all! I just thought since some arn't into the superfrugal thing and some are it would be a choice thing, though if you're not into the frrugal thing it would be easy just to not read the frugal Q and A threads.

I like moneyrants replys, don't always agree with him, but I am glad he types in.
