Question I have a problem with my credit report.

I once had a credit card and I kept the credit card for one or two things I made a small debt and paid it of with in three weeks. And the debt was payed off. I made the mistake of ordering a credit card and someone spent my credit money on stupid things at a porn shop. I have contacted the local police and no responce. I have did everything to cover up the problem. I settled to $1000 due to a mistake on my behalf and payed that in full. They are still after 35,000 from one relitve and 650,000 from "guru" I know this is a Idenity theft and I want to know how do I clean my credit score and have a fresh start? I live in oregon and if anyone know's how a disabled person also can clear his/her credit score?

If you haven't paid the charges on your card, call the credit card issuer (phone number on the back of the card) and tell them you want to dispute those fraudulent items. They will take the charges off. Cancel the card so no more charges can be incurred.

To get the collections or other bad items removed from your credit report, you have to dispute it to the credit bureaus (see link below). Explain the items were due to identity theft or fraud. They will look into it, and if they determine those facts are true the items will be removed and your score will instantly change for the better.

To avoid identity theft, you can call each credit bureau and request they put a fraud alert on your profile. This will prevent others from obtaining credit in your name.

All of these things I mentioned are free to do and should cost you nothing.
