Default Passive income from eHow.com

I've heard a couple people on this board mention being paid royalties for content they're written for the Web site eHow.com. I'm interested to hear experiences you folks have had... How many articles have you written? How much do you earn on average? What are your thoughts on the site?

What I'm really interested in is this model of revenue sharing, and I have been doing some research on it. I think it is a really cool application of "Web 2.0" technology and could be applied to lots of other amateur products online like photography, art, and other types of media and content. Have you seen any other sites like this for different mediums?

Just interested! Let me know what you've experienced.
