Unhappy my poor kitty

I found my baby, Garfield, dead almost under the back deck. We think that she may have gotten hit by a car, then crawled off to die. The kids are heartbroken. Then when we were going out back to bury her my son stepped on a nail and we had to go to the urgent care center. what a day!!

I feel for ya, I wish our pets had longer lifespans. We lost our first boxer 2 years ago, we were devastated. The kiddo's will get over it quick. I hope tomorrow is a much better day.

I'm so sorry...that is absolutely heart breaking. The poor baby!

Go to your local animal shelter and adopt a darling that is sitting in a cage waiting for someone to love them...

Take care.

I have been a pet owner all of my life, I love my pets. I have personally had 7 cats, 1 bunny and 2 hampsters pass away. It's very hard each time, but it is still so worth having them. I hope someday you will be able to welcome another kitty (or more!) into your home. I always plan on having cats in my home. I do not plan on having children, so they are my babies.

I disagree with the comment that the kids will get over it soon, be there for your children, give them a hug, let them cry it out.

My thoughts are with you.

I am so sorry. I have had dogs all of my life. Everytime one passes away, it hurts so badly. They bring so much joy into our lives. I love my little Holly so much.

I am so sorry. The death of a pet is difficult to deal with.
