I had a hobby that got me into TERRIBLE debt. I bought a 1972 cadillac eldorado convertible. I wanted a cool car to put my buddys n' a couple of girls in and just kinda cruise around. Unfourtunetly everything went wrong with the car. Bought it for $3,300. and wound up putting almost $6,000.00 into it within 2 years of working on it. It was awful and it's still not done yet, i let people lead me down a path that they wanted for the car and not I. From it I have learned a lot and can only look at it as gain in wisdom. I was kinda screwed because it's a giant car that needed a lot of work on it. And I only have a 1 car garage, no tools, no knowledge of the car, and not nearly enough extra money to have it all done for me. Im in the process of either finishing the vehicle of Brooming it off at nearly a 70% loss (which i'd still be happy with) just to get rid of it.
Aside from that mess my normal hobbies are kinda middle of the road expensive, i love playing guitar, drinking at my bonfire with my buddies, and playing computer games. ( all my guitars are all paid for and i usually just drink bush light ). Computer games kinda get expensive but only when your buying a new computer that year, i havent had a new computer in like 4 years.
One hobby I really wanna get into (after i get rid of the cadillac and have some room) is carpentry. I'd love to learn how to make tables, chairs, mantles, benches, and especially how to make some guitars. Thats really what i'd love to do when i get the room and time to start it up.
