Forced savings: Bennigan's going out of business
Anyone a fan of Bennigan's? I loved their chicken strips. Since they're going out of business, that will save me some money.

The local Bennigan's has been shut down for a couple of years, I think. DS says there is one near his new place, and they ate there recently. I wonder if that will be gone before we get to visit. Hubby loved their potato skins.

We rarely go to any of the chain restaurants - Bennigans, Houlihans, Fridays, Chilis, Applebees, etc. The food isn't that great. Everything is deep fried. And we can get a far better meal for a few dollars more at an independent restaurant where everything is cooked to order.
