Many of you may already know this, but there are a couple of free lancing websites out there that allow you to bid for jobs ranging from administrative to writing.

one is elance .com (note you have to put the two together). I am in no way affiliated with the site, I've just used it to get some occasional part time work when I wanted to make some extra cash. There may be some other sites like this out there and if there are please share.

I use a push - pull technique for getting ahead. On the one hand I cut expenses and save as much as i can. And on the other hand I bring in as much extra income as I can. This really helps you save and get ahead.
Specifically, to earn extra money. I
  • Sell items on eBay
  • Sell items on craigslist
  • Sell items on Kingwoodyardsales.com (there is probably a (yourcity)yardsales.com in your city
  • And I write books.
I've sold over $150,000 on eBay and wrote a book about selling on eBay. I have a blog on my website with eBay and craigslist selling tips if you want some ideas. Anyone can do this, it just takes a little time. Just make sure you provide good customer service and keep your feedback rating at 100%

Thumbs up Bargain Shopping

Recently I have been following the trends especially since its summertime. I purchase bargain items and sell them on ebay.

i.e. - There is an Aldo Shoe Outlet near my job and they have buy one accessories get one free. I purchased some flats that were $4.95. I sold both pairs for about $12.00 including shipping.

There are many ways to earn money online or at home in your free time. The best way to find them is by reading work at home forums. You can't google work from home and come up with anything legit, unfortunately.

I've just joined Cash Crate, but in order to do so I was required to enter my address and phone number over an insecure connection. (http instead of https)

I haven't completed any of the surveys, but of the three I've started all of them also required me to enter address and phone number information over an insecure connection.

They're not selling your information to anyone because they don't have to; you're giving it to them for free, as well as giving it to anyone who may intercept it along the way.

I sell on ebay, Amazon and ecrater. I have my own store on ecrater and ebay where I sell sewing patterns. I love to sew so my selling and blogs, etc. all refernece sewing or book reading (my other love). I also have a blog, website and SquidooLens that help make some pocket change.

I also participate in a couple affliate programs, one of which is BigCrumbs which gives you a percentage back on purchases made on line at over 300 stores. Being disabled and with gas over $4 I have found it easier to shop on line when I need to.

I have had Google Adsense ads on my website and blog for over a year now and have earned $100+. So it isn't quick and if I had more time and energy to keep things more updated, I know I would earn more. I think one of the keys to being successful at making money on line is to NOT be doing it just for the money but because you enjoy it. I have found that searching for deals on line when I need to buy something is fun, especially when you know how much you would have to spend to GO and buy it. My last big on-line purchase I saved over $20.

How did you get started and what are the qualifications neccessary to obtain this position? There are a lot of small businesses in my area looking for bookkeepers. I've never done it before but I've taken lots of accounting classes and I understand financial statements.

I've tried cash-for-surveys programs before, but I don't tend to keep doing something that makes so little money if you don't get other people to do it so you can get money from what they do as well. I also noticed an increase in telemarketter calls and junk mail to my home. I've moved since then though lol.

For a couple years I have made a little extra money reading tarot cards online. At a modest .50 per minute rate you can make $30/hour, some people charge $5-20/min. I can't imagine anyone paying so much for 'psychic' advice, but they do!

I have done surveys in the past. I've made a couple hundred dollars doing so over the past year and a half.

I trade (for a handling fee) coupons and have made a couple hundred from this as well.

I've done some minor web design on the side.

Since I'm done with college, I plan to sell my textbooks on ebay. Hopefully that'll help get my rating up on ebay so I can sell other things as well.

I was selling a few things on Ebay as well. I eventually got tired of looking for things and right now I am working a LOT of overtime at work. Basically I am working most of my off days because they are paid at time and a half and double time

I buy items online when they are really cheap and sell them on ebay. You will be surprised that almost every week there are some profitable items. Last week there was the sony 2GB mp3 player deal for $10 on Amazon (price mistake), and I am selling on ebay for $60 right now. Tonight there is the phone system for $20, can be easily sold on ebay for $60.

Of course you have to be experienced to know which are profitable items. I use deal sites(dealsea, 3deals.com, dealslist, etc) to buy cheap items.

I sell my used books on Amazon.com.
Do paid to click and surveys for extra money.
Right now my husband is bringing in almost all of the extra money by doing handyman work and mowing lawns.
