Default Thank God for EF's

I need to vent.

Earlier this month, my wife had a wreck. Totalled her car and we have an 1000 deductable.

In this same month, my daughter got hail damage. Today, we are taking my daughters car to the shop. My wife, in her rental, hit my daughters car in the driveway.

Now, I have another claim to file. But the good news is, I have an EF. I wonder if my insurance will go up.

I think your insurance is going up. I think you should say 'thank god trouble comes in 3's.' Parents hitting a child's car is not uncommon. good luck

This is an update to my original post. This is how we handled the problem(s).

We are recieving a settlement of 5219.00 after our 1000 deductable.
We bought another pt cruiser, same year, 24,000 less miles, for 3700.
spending 172.00 for new windshield.
Spent 704 to repair rental.
Spent 550 to repair daughters additional repair costs.

3700
704
550
172

= 5126.00

Only filed one claim. Are considering only liability on the new cruiser if insurance goes up. Not to bad for a bad month.

Both are 2002's, previous car had 108,000, new one has 84,600. We gave up the moon roof.

Wow! Not too bad at all.

PT Cruisers are a pain to see out of when you're trying to back up; though you found a great deal on one with less miles. Way to go.
