We have started a new point system. The points that you earn participating in the forums can be used to purchase prizes that we will be giving away (see below).
Here is how you can earn points:
20 points: Sign-up bonus
10 points: Each new thread you begin
05 points: Each time you respond in a thread
10 points: Each time you refer a member to the forums
If you see a prize that you like and have accumulated enough points, simply leave a comment in this thread saying which prize you would like. If there is information that you need to send us (such as your address so we can send you the item), please contact us at
info@savingadvice.com so we can get your prize to you once you have left a comment that you want it. We will then deduct the points from your total and send you the prize - there are no shipping charges - we take care of that.
Here are the prizes that we currently have available and how many points they cost:
- $10 ING Conversion - 500 points (limit 1 at a time. When an invite has been converted, you can request a new one). Note: Unfortunately, the rate that we have been able to convert invites has slowed dramatically over the past few months meaning these invite conversions will likely not be available all the time. It is essential that you leave a comment saying that you have sent an invite. I've been receiving invites from people I have no idea who they are. If I can't match the invites sent with a comment here, they will not go up. If you sent an invite while this offer was closed, you'll need to send again and comment here again (you can tell if you invite has been listed by whether or not points have been deducted).
