Default So i just checked my credit scores...

Through a website called creditchecktotal.

This is what I got:

Experian: 779
Equifax: 767
Transunion: 771

Do you think that is a legit website?

Thanks!

Wouldn't you want to find out a site is legitimate BEFORE giving them your SSN and other personal information?

Although I definitely agree with Sweeps, what makes you question their rep? Do those scores not seem likely based on your credit history?

Don't know anything about how they work. I've never heard of that company. However, make sure you cancel the service you enrolled in to use the website. "If you don't cancel your membership within the 7-day trial period, you will be billed $29.95 for each month that you continue your membership," as quoted directly from the site.

Hi Joan. Thanks for your input.

I was referred by a friend..but never heard of the site.

Yes, the scores to seem to line up...I assumed I was around 10-20 points below those scores, but wasn't sure.

Thank you

At least you were higher than you thought! I did a mystery shop with them not too long ago, and everything seemed ok to me. They actually charged my card a day early, but when I called to get it reversed, I had no trouble doing that or cancelling. Haven't had any problems since either.

So yeah, I'd say they are legit, but I was just curious as to why you asked:-)

Just so you know, none of those scores are the actual "FICO score". That is only available from Fair Isaac at myfico.com. The other scores may or may not be similar to the FICO, although there should be some correlation.

Yes, I know it is not my FICO score...

From what I understand though...the equifax score is the same as the fico score.

The transunion and experian are not.

Thanks!
