Default You have small Children

I have a 2 yr old son that I stay at home with him. But I am unable to go to the night parties with my husband. Anybody having the solutions for these?

Alternate your husband staying home one week you the next.

Or find friends that don't mind coming to your house (put the kid to bed at a normal time, enjoy the company after)

Or realize the life of a parent isn't quite as much fun in the party department as non parents

I'm not sure what you mean by "night parties".

Find another couple with a small child, and swap babysitting -- that way you both get date nights, without spending money on a babysitter.

Trade babysitting with friends. Agreed.

My kids are 3/5 now and we are just starting to feel comfortable with the babysitter thing (& the expense). In the past we traded babysitting with close friends.
