Default Charge offs on secured account. CRAZY bank...??

I have been fighting with a certian bank over a vehicle I have. Long story short... it took me 2 years to correct my name with them so that I could register the vehicle in a different state. It was under my Grandmother's name also and when she passed away, they just took her name off it after about 3 months. Then they placed a collection in her probate for the vehicle that was no longer in her name. Suddenly, I found that they sent a repo man for the vehicle that was then solely under my name!
I stopped payments to them and sent an offer for full payment since they STILL held a claim under a probate that no longer had the truck. I thought this would be the quickest way to end this madness and save my credit on it.
They listed the account as Closed. Then listed Amount Owed as $0. And also listed it under Charged-Off. I have the truck! It doesn't appear that any collection agency has listed it under any of the credit reporting agencys and my score actually went up.
Did I suddenly get the truck? What happened? What did they do? I tried to contact them and they could not answer any of these questions but maintained that the information on the reports was accurate.
Thoughts? If I just don't pay them, is the truck mine now? Is there a reason I should worry that a repo man will show up? What will happen to my score now?
