Default Holiday debt poem

Please don't critique it. I was just playing when the poem came. I'm sure that everyone else can do better. Feel free to add verses or make a much better one than this.

Thanksgiving came and went
With a lot of money spent
I pulled out my credit card more than once or twice
Now my bank account isn't looking so nice

Christmas is just around the bend
I'm still asking my credit cards to lend
Holiday songs are all cheerful and bright
Just the opposite of my coming financial plight

And soon the New Year will be met
With loads of additional debt
So if I don't make a plan to get out of this fix
I'll still be paying off Christmas 2004 in 2006

Please don't kick me out of the forums!!!!!

The two of you are much too kind! But it gives a general feeling of what debt can do. Time for me work on my poem writing!
