Default My printer bargain wasn't such a bargain

Last week I posted about the great deal I got on a refurbished color laser printer. I was all excited that I got a printer that sells new for $249 on sale for just $69.99 refurbished.

Imagine my surprise when I saw the sale circular for the same store in today's paper and they are now selling the same printer for only $49.99. I tried to call over there and only got voicemail. I'll have to stop by on Tuesday with my receipt and see if they'll do a price adjustment. If not, I'll be happy to return the printer I got and rebuy it at the new lower price. It would be a pain, but for $20, and the principle, I'll do it.

I will say, though, that if any of you are interested in a color laser printer, head over to your local Ink Stop store because $49.99 is an incredible price for this machine.

I hate that feeling.

However, I normally justify it by remembering that I was satisfied with the "bargain" when I bought it. I try not to look at the prices of the items after I buy it.

But that would be great if you can get it for the lower price!

I called and they said to just bring in the receipt and they'll refund the difference.

You should always check prices after a major purchase because most stores have a 30-day price guarantee.

My experience was buying furniture...they had a price match guaruntee, however, their future deals involved free airfare and other things that didn't count toward the "purchase price". I was so angry about that.
