Dip the end of each branch of an artificial tree in petroleum jelly before
placing into the frame -it will be easier to pull the branches out when
you disassemble the tree.

Lightly spray live tree needles with starch before decorating
- the tree will last longer

Use a turkey baster to prevent spills when adding water to the tree stand.

Use Twist ties, paper clips or thin ribbon to hang your ornaments if you run
out of hooks or in place of hooks

Wrap your tree lights around paper towel rolls when you put them away
and run the loose cord through the inside to keep it tangle - free
