Default Do gasoline devices really save money?

I've been coming across a lot of advertisements for devices that are supposed to save you a lot of gasoline if you use them. There seems to be all kinds of them. Do any of them really work? Can they really cut your gasoline consumption? Has anyone every tried any of them?

From what I have read (I have never used any of them) most, if not all, are not credible. Your best bet is adjusting your driving habits and keep your car in top shape to maximize your gas mileage.

I have to agree with Terry1156 regarding the "gas saving devices".

They are nothing but hype and a few may even actually cost you more in gas depending on your driving habits, the "health" of your car, etc.

Don't waste your time or money, no matter what they "claim".

I agree with Terry these devices aren't any good. However, if you live in the north where I do with winter temperatures that go down to -20 to -30f you should add a bottle of heet ( or heet clone) to your gas with every fill up to prevent your gas line from freezing.
