Default Do You Love Your Job?

Do you Love your job? I like aspects of my job, I like earning an income, but there are things about it I don't like, and if I didn't have to work to earn an income I am sure I would find lots of other things to do.
And, I just don't love my job. I love my family and I love my dog. But, it seems people often report that they "love their job". And, if you don't say that, you are looked at as disloyal, not fully committed etc. What do you think?

Nope.

But I sure like working from home and being well-paid!

My DH would probably say he loves his job, or at least most of it, and I'm thrilled with him. I'm glad he can get paid for doing something he's passionate about. But I think while most people can appreciate their jobs they view them as a means to an end. I don't see anything odd or bad about that.

I just worked on the Superbowl and it was the most satisfying, exhausting work experience I have ever had.

It was nerve-wracking watching it at home but totally worth the hours of work.

I have two jobs.

One has positive aspects but is overall negative.

The other has negative aspects but is overall positive.

I'm trying to figure out a way to jettison the bad one. Wish I could get more hours at the good one....

I love both of my part time jobs. I make very little at a Christian preschool, but substituting in area elementary schools is a little better. But I love the jobs!

I like my job, but no, i don't love my job!! I love my family and homelife and that always comes first. I do like what I do, the people I work with, etc., but if ever I got the chance to stay at home with my family I would do it in a heartbeat!

No, i have the job becus i need to earn a living. It's not bad as jobs go, but i'd much rather be doing something else.

Mot of my jobs have had some aspects i liked, others i haven't liked. No job is perfect unless you're very, very fortunate.

I think I have a perfect job but sometimes I still don't want to work. I would like to be able to choose when and how often I work and still receive a paycheck that would be the perfect job so I guess mine is not perfect. I can dress in a suit or sweat pants go to meetings or go bowling watch movies go swimming learn new things meet different people but also have to put up with different types of people There is good and bad in all jobs.

I love my job very much. I am a wife to a great guy and mother to some awesome adults and one little one. Wish the adults were close enough to give them a day off now and then but this is where DH found a job and income is a good thing.

I can honestly say I do love my job. The only thing I don't like about it is sometimes the income's a little inconsistent. It's generally project-based, and when one project ends, you don't necessarily get put on (or can find) a new one. But it's definitely 'nice work when you can get it'!

I love my job I just started a new job its a dispathcer & I do it at home the only problem is sometimes my kids cant stay quiet mainly my youngest. So when the schedule posts tommorrow I will try to take the late nights I want so badly to keep it, I am hoping I can work this at least pt while she is so small. And when she is bigger then I could go ft.

As for my job as a mom I could use a vacation I am not sure what I would do without my kids though I have always been with them never been away ever really maybe a vacation with them away from the house cleaning & dishes

I love what my job represents. I love the pride I have in doing my job. I don't love the pay and I don't love the hours. If I could do any job in the world though, there would only be one other that I'd pick over my current one. So, I'd say I love it about as much as anyone could.

I love working. Staying home all day seems like a waste of resources to me. The only reason I like the weekends are because I feel like I deserve to play around because Ive been working so hard during the week.

So since I enjoy working - period - its easy to love any job I have. The one I have I enjoy, but the pay is crappy. Changing that soon...

Most the time I love it , sometimes I don't if I have a particularly nasty opposing attorney, an inconsistent judge, or a juvenile who is clearly headed for the big house in a few short years...but overall it is interesting, intense and pays pretty well.

Sakgit you sound like someone who doesn't have kids or a family so that is not your priority right now at least that is how I took it because those that do definitely don't feel like that weekend spent at home with them is a waste.
