Default Credit Card Quiz

I found this test through another thread. I thought it pointed out some of the great traps of Credit Cards. Knowledge is power! See how you do.

http://www.creditcardnation.com/financialquiz.html

There is also alot of great info on the web site if you are interested.

I spent so many years getting shafted it's nice to know I understand them now....not that it's going to get be back all the interested I've paid. Oh well, at least I've learned. I find the bonus question funny...lol..

I missed three. I tried to think about it too much. But at least I understood most of the information!

I guessed on the bonus because of the various card companies and the way they do business, and I got it right!

Got 10 of 11. I did know about Clinton and his credit fiasco.

Go to Advanced level doesn't work.

I wonder if this subject is covered in Citizenship classes. I know that as an immigrant with no great credit history, I read up as much as I could, including Manning's Credit Card Nation book, about how to survive as a member of the dwindling middle-class. Every subprime credit card solicitation I received I genuinely thought came from careful scrutiny of my credit record. ("I paid off my car loan early! I have 48 months of flawless payment history. Why do I get this dreck in my mailbox? I simply do not save as well as the Average American does. I must do better.")

Now I know, even though I've done all this reading of books and blogs and personal finance Websites, I'm not suited to use a credit card. After all, my terms and conditions agreements don't improve in correlation with my credit history, and I'm too ignorant to know how to improve or reset these agreements to the original terms offered by the credit card companies.
