we are drinking more heart healthy beverages nowadays... orange juice, tomato juice or v8, pomegrante juice, cranberry juice, and real hot chocolate made with dark cocoa..

I like to drink a lot of water. I wish vitamin pills were smaller and easier to swallow.

Drinking plenty of water even though I have a Diet Pepsi daily.

For breakfast I have 2 slices of turkey bacon, 1/2 cup of shredded wheat with bran flakes on top, an English muffin, a 1/2 cup of orange juice, a cup of skim milk and a cup of decaf coffee and a half banana or tablespoon of fruit chunks over my cereal

For lunch I have a salad mixed with tuna, turkey or a boiled egg, 4 thin crackers and a Diet Pepsi

For dinner I have a 2 oz serving of chicken, tuna, turkey or roast beef, a slice of wheat bread with a pat of butter, two veggies (preferably squash, green beans, collard greens, or spinach) and corn or a mashed potato

Having MS limits me at times to how long I can stay on the treadmill or how far I can walk in a given day. I try to climb the stairs atleast twice a day.

I'm not a big fan of fudge, its just too rich for me. I really don't do much to keep myself healthy except clean parking lots for a living, which involves a moderate amount of walking

I look at food with it's potential as an anti oxidant or a super food.
I make sure I have on hand: frozen blueberries, broccoli sprouts,
carrots and avocadoes (not too often touted as a superfood but I think
it is rife with nutrients).

Exercise is important and I do the three pronged approach of
stretch, aerobics and weight training.

I also try to keep a happier, calm atmosphere in my home
as one where people bicker and squabble can raise the
cortisol levels. One person can certainly set the whole
household mood for everyone.

I went to a nutritionist and she has been invaluable in helping me get a healthy diet together. Check with your doctor before taking aspirin on a regular basis!

I agree with PricePlus about watching out for the aspirin regime. It's not for everyone and you SHOULD CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR FIRST before doing it.
I take multiVitamin and minerals
Drink adequate amounts of water
Fish.Borage, and Flaxseed oil capsules
Salmon
CoQ10
Melatonin for sleeping
Chamomile tea
Green Tea
I also look at the ingredients on the food I buy.
Try to stay away from High-fructose corn syrup in products. It's almost in everything.
Use very few convenience or processed foods.
Cook most things from scratch if possible.
Constantly read and keep up on news about health issues

My initial thought when reading the thread title was "Not enough obviously" I am overweight and sedentary with a habit of eating junk and drinking soda. However the fact that I have a little one (age 3) is causing me to think about my habits. I'd like to meet his children not to mention see my grandchildren (ages 15 douwn to age 1) grow up and have kids so I need to change. NOW!!!

I've been a vegetarian for 6 years and switched to a vegan diet 6 weeks ago. My incessant daily headaches have all but gone away, and I haven't had a migraine until today (funny, that coincides with the fact that I tried a baked good yesterday that had eggs and dairy in it). I have lots more energy and feel more "awake", for lack of a better term. I don't know why I didn't give up dairy sooner.

Now I'm working on giving up caffeine!
