Smile Does anyone other than family attend your holiday get-together?

Do you ever have friends or neighbors over?

No, i'm not inviting myself to your shin-dig, just curious if you take on assorted others who may not have plans due to distance or other reasons.

We're Jewish, so don't celebrate Christmas. The past few years, friends of ours have included us in their family Christmas celebration which has been very nice. In turn, they come to our Passover Seder each spring.

Also this year, one of my wife's coworkers and her daughter are coming to our house for a Chanukkah dinner. They aren't Jewish, but the mom is in the process of studying to convert to Judaism.

We are alone at christmas. I wish we knew someone to invite over, but everyone we know celebrates with family.

We invite neighbors from Mexico who do not have their family here and other friends if they are not going home for some reason.

We always invite people who might otherwise be alone. (Usually because their families are too far away.) Ima -- you're welcome if you want to make the trek to Minnesota
