Default Tax Return

i have a question one of my friend he is from dubai and been here from3 years and he was actually student and was working with a company within this period and now he is going back ... so can he claim his all tax back from last 3 years, and if yes then what is procedure and documents required and how long it will take ?

what is the percentage he will get ?

I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you talking about his income tax? Did he not file for the 3 years he was here? I believe if he was here on student visa and working, he was required to file a regular 1040. You can get a refund up to 3 years from the due date of your income tax return. So I believe he can file for a refund going back to 2003. You can always check the irs website, it's irs.gov.

yes he was on student visa and he was living in uk not usa or any where else ,
