oh, no, not too much. juuuuuuuuuuust enough!

for the past several years DH and i have had to shuffle between 3 houses over the course of 8 hours on thanksgiving, so the only thing we really did was eat and drive all day long. this year there's only 1 gathering, so i have no idea what's gonna happen.

On the day itself, yes. DS and DIL won't arrive until afternoon, so we eat a turkey supper. We watch football and sometimes play a game together. But after two turkey dinners, DS and DIL are in a coma.

I love Tgiving, but feeling a little sad since it's hard not to remember how last year was with an SO & his big family. With just the 3 of us, we can't fill a day 'talking' and my sis usually doesn't like to stay long.

Need to focus on the future, not the past.

Such good responses! Very uplifting. We finished our cooking today so we can drive around a bit. The weather is going to be in the high 50's Thursday. Just hubby and me this year.

Happy Birthday Ima and Fairy74!

Fern; I wish you happiness, I wish you love. It will happen. His loss. There is a future if we can leave the past in the past. We're going into 2007 and 7 is a blessed number!!

Happy Thanksgiving all!
