Does your company give a Christmas Bonus? If so what?

I work for a company that gives us $1000.00 and a small gift for Christmas. A friend of mine works for a company that gives only a Ham or Turkey! It got me thinking what others get at the Holidays from their companies! Please share!!!

well, i have no idea if my company gives a Christmas bonus or not: i just started here at the end of August. as i've never worked for a company that did give this type of bonus, i never assume i'm getting one or budget it in.

No. I work for the government.

DH's last employer gave out hams and $100 gift cards for a grocery store. He just started with another company so who knows. They do put on a fairly nice Xmas party from what he's been told, they supposedly give out nice gifts. We'll find out in a few weeks.

One place gave a choice between a frozen turkey and a $10 gift certificate. In those days, turkeys were selling for around $.09 a pound at the end of year, so I always chose the $10. Husband has never worked where a bonus was given either.

Yep, my boss gives us a Christmas bonus, it's usually two weeks worth of pay. I am so happy I hope he will this year because I will be paying off my student loan

Last year we got a $25 gift card to Stop & Shop.

We don't get a christmas bonus. Never have in the last two companies I have worked for.

DHs boss gives everyone a turkey the week of Thanksgiving. Ours is now defrosting in the fridge and will take deep-fry-plunge on Thursday!! yum!

At my old job, there were many Christmas perks for managers. I miss those....but not enough to work outside the home again.

At my current job (my kids and I are in year two of our business)...there simply arent the funds yet. But I envision that changing as business grows!!

I have never gotten anything. My husband is self employed, so he has never gotten anything either. I use to have a boss that would give us a fruit cake. Does anyone eat them? I don't!!
