I spent close to $20 today at two grocery stores. I got steak and potatoes for thursday, and picked up a few items, including deli ham for our lunches this week.

$8 on lunch with a coworker- a rare treat.
$28 on groceries. My mom asked me to pick up afew things for dinner, then I got some diapers too since I was at Wal-Mart, plus $8 worth of coffee on sale...and before I knew it, there was $28 worth of stuff in my cart So it goes...

$2.30 for breakfast $1.89 for coffee at local-hero coffee shop. total spent $4.19, total ones and change to savings $5.81.

well, today is not done (still need celery, cream cheese, onions, garlic, cheese, bacon bits for tomorrow), but i've done well so far

$3.02 - lunch (my allowance: saved change of $1.98)
$1.89 - coffee (my allowance: saved change of $3.11)
$9.27 - 4 12-packs of coke @ CVS (grocery money: on sale 4/$11 and used $2 off coupon. got another $2 off coupon on my receipt and the purchase will generate another $3 coupon in 2 days.)
$15.35 - stocking stuffers at Walgreens (holiday budget: saved $10.49 via sales and coupons)

I spent $60, but I got two family members' Christmas presents taken care of before the big rush!
Oh, and I spent $1.92 on body wash because I'm out. (Used a coupon!)

Went Christmas shopping today and spent $166 on gifts for 5 people ($16 was for a birthday gift for next week.
Also spent $35 at Walmart for some necessities.
