Smile thanksgiving dinner gift?

we are going to my mothernlaw's for thanksgiving... i do not know what to give her.. she is a missionary...we will be staying at her home in ky... any suggestions? thanks in advance.

a donation to whatever her field of missions is, dinner out while you are visiting (or homecooked by you if she is not territorial about the kitchen), gc to local grocery, relaxation basket with paperback, candle, etc.., bottle of wine or sparkling cider

we already donate to uguanda, that is where she missionairies...she doesn't like to eat out. i will clean up the kitchen and assist with her cooking menu... sparkling cider is a thought.. she only reads the bible.. no t.v. etc. she uses computer... so i was thinking maybe a cooking dvd. this woman asks us to donate, within the first half hour of talking to her and then asks if we are ready for the kingdom... she is nice though.. thanks for the response... it helped.

I would think being thoughful & helping around her home while you are visiting.

Or if you have dc's you could always make some fun lil centerpieces. We always make a paper bag turkey for their center piece on their table & the kids do turkeys outlining their hands to decorate her fridge

thanks for the helpful comments... i used alot of them.. we had a wonderful time... beautiful weather... alot of traffic driving there.. coming home was quick and easy trip...
