a donation to whatever her field of missions is, dinner out while you are visiting (or homecooked by you if she is not territorial about the kitchen), gc to local grocery, relaxation basket with paperback, candle, etc.., bottle of wine or sparkling cider

I would think being thoughful & helping around her home while you are visiting.
Or if you have dc's you could always make some fun lil centerpieces. We always make a paper bag turkey for their center piece on their table & the kids do turkeys outlining their hands to decorate her fridge ![]() |
