Why I've been MIA
I suppose a few of you may have noticed I've been pretty much missing in action lately. Well, the biggest reason is this: http://www.growingfamily.com/webnurs...LID=1X0D4I5L3O
The other reason is that I went back to work for 8 weeks before the big event (long story  ). Anyway, if you start seeing my random postings at 2:00 am you'll know why. If you look at the pictures you'll probably notice little Chloe has a cleft lip (and palate). So, we've got some surgeries ahead of us, but at least in this time (and place) the condition is almost 100% correctable. Ya'll would be proud of us for getting 5 Habermans from the hospital (a special bottle that's usually $20 each). We also managed to swich to insurance with 100% coverage a few weeks before. (Remember when I said going back to work was a long story?) Still keeping it frugal

Congrats on your beautiful new daughter!!! I can think of NO BETTER reason for going MIA than that!!! I hope you are getting some rest!!

Congratulations! Just six days old! Wonderful! Really unusual to go back to work with just 8 weeks to go in pregnancy. You must be a trooper. But for the insurance, I surely understand. I clicked on your blog links briefly. I'll be looking more closely later. We might be looking for Minnesota property next year. You can contact me, if that interests you.

Yep. I guess it should be 44saving. I think I'd have to become a pre-schooler again for that though
Going back to work 8 months pregnant was definitely interesting, but luckily the pregnancy was uncomplicated aside from the !7! ultrasounds for the cleft stuff. I also got to meet all the people inbetween me and the bathroom really well. Joan -- I'm hoping my blogs get a bit of attention sometime in the near future, but in the meantime if you're looking for anything in particular shoot me a private message and I can hunt a bit. (My in-laws are still in the market for a house closer to us, so I still know the market reasonably well . . .)
