[quote=jodi]1. Done for the most part - I had a few slices of pizza while at my in-laws because there were no other options available for dinner. But I did lose 3.5 pounds this week. I only have 1.5 more to go to get to my goal weight, then I have to maintain.

that's great and you're getting pretty close... lol about the pizza.... we know how that goes... DH is trying to lose weight and sometimes when you are with other people there just aren't any other options... good luck and i'm sure you'll hit your goal soon...

My goal is to walk a mile a day and balance the two checkbook statements sitting there. Also, try and declutter the library!

I see some great goals for the upcoming week on the boards.

My goals this week are:
to have a no spend week (with the exception for gas as we need it).
to get outside a couple times this week for a walk.

Buy a gift for my BIL (for a birthday 2 wks ago) and get it mailed. Start shopping for my formal dress for the army ball...in just four weeks!!

I'd also like to get my basement organized. Since moving to our home two weeks ago, it has become a haven for all the things we don't know where to store. I'm not used to this kind of disorganization.

New goals for week starting Monday:
* Walk to work or use excercise bike 4 days this week. Forecast is a lot of rain.
* Continue to eat breakfast and maintain calendar, building to a solid habit.
* Not make too many goals at once

Status of last weeks:
Calendar started and maintained. Walked to work/biked 3 out of 5 times.

Glad to hear you biked/walked three out of five days to work. That is pretty impressive. Is this new for you or something you have been doing for a while?

Clean my indoor area for over a few tender plants and for seed-starting under lights in January through March. Just finsihed putting into packets the last of seeds I harvested for next year.

Lift weights on schedule. I keep forgetting--not deliberately choosing not to lift, just forgettting. Maybe having written it here will help me remember.

This weekend cost a lot more than expected.

The next few weeks the boyfriend and I are saving for Christmas so the goals will remain the same...

My goals:

1) I will NOT buy any more clothes until Christmas, despite the fabulous sales the holidays bring. I have plenty! (This one is going to be hard )

2) Resell some of my clothes I dont wear. Ive already collected them but its been a pain to make it to the place where they rebuy gently used items.

3) Get back to dining in 5/7 nights a week. Also, we wont go out for breakfast anymore. Im going to buy a dozen eggs and a pack of turkey bacon that will last a while!

I just bought my BIL his gift. It was a gift card to Barnes and Noble, but he is a coffee freak and likes to hang out there. So it is on its way. One down...

1) Buy and send wedding gift.
2) Try to start a 'christmas' list for gift buying
3) Balance checkbook
4) Exercise AT LEAST 4 days
5) start SB diet

So far I've exercised once (5am this morning UGH) and have 2 SB diet friendly meals down. I will have to go shopping since I have mostly NON-SB diet food at home.

met last weeks goals (except still getting over the cold).

This weeks goals:
1. Go to gym 5 times (have been once)
2. Stick to diet (lost three pounds by doctor's scale today) YAHOO!
3. Put at least $75 in savings

This is a great thread, gives you some inspiration when you're not feeling it!

This week I will research other banking packages my bank offers. When my original bank was bought out I was set up in a package that requires a $25k minimum balance or I get hit with a $25/month fee....and the interest rate is terrible.

My goals for this week:

- start the Christmas stocking stuffers shopping or at least get ideas (phone cards for college kids, makeup, etc.)
- finish up the last 2 kids' gifts (know what they want, just need to order them!)
- take my accounting exam

Think I'm going to post here to motivate myself into activity.

During the last Challenge I cleaned and dejunked my closets. This is good. What is not so good is the condition of my office/workroom, which I used as a staging area during the closets campaign.

My goal for the rest of this week is to clear and neaten my office. This will involve:

1) Find permanent homes for the "floaters" or let them go.
2) Move the remaining discards/donations either to the dumpster or the car.
3) Resolve the paper piles by filing, processing, or shredding.
4) Apply "use-it-or-lose-it" to the junk that litters my desk and work table.

To be completed by Sunday evening.

Hello, Glenn Kawesch's goals for this week.

Monday - Friday: Lose 10 pounds.
Saturday: Gain 5 pounds.
Sunday: Gain 4 pounds.

The way I see it, I will lose 1 pound per week and in one year I will have lost 52 pounds!

Flaws?

Went to the bank and changed my banking package to one that requires a much lower minimum balance. I also closed out an inactive passbook savings account that had $739 earning 1% interest. I will put 1/2 of that toward debt reduction and the other 1/2 in my ING account.
