Default Celebrating Progress

I just wanted to share some good news and report on progress...

My wife and I paid off one store credit card account earlier this month and have just paid a second one off today.

We still have a mountain but we're making progress. It feels great to pay final payments!

Does the paying off feel better than the buying did?

We began executing our 'get out of debt' plan in February of this year. While life is known to throw plans off course, we presently expect to be debt free on or before April 2008; about 18 months from now.

My best to you in your efforts!

Congrats, I know how it feels, as of this week I should have the last bits ($375) paid off on my last few cards. Will be greatful when that stress is gone.

Wow. I really had no idea my little 'feel good' post would receive such a response. It's great to know that there are kindred spirits here pursuing their own debt free goal. Thanks for the support!

I may share my debt/plan one day. For now, it can suffice to say that if I employed a system like Broken Arrow, with the list and the [X] indicators, I would need substantially more space.

Again, thanks everyone. Best wishes to you all in your financial (and other) endeavors.
