Default Help - Last Minute Costume Ideas

Hey I am going to a halloween party tonight and just realized this morning that I think my good old cat ears and cat tail are in storage. Regardless where they are I don't have time to find them.

So any good/frugal last-minute ideas????? I Was going to look around online but it is really busy at work so I figured I would ask here. LOL.

I only have 1/2 hour once I get home to turn around and head off, so something I can do with items on hand, and quick????

So far all I Can think is dress like a man. I know I can pull it off quick - something I did in the past - baseball cap, draw a mustache, throw on some baggy clothes. But it is not very interesting - hehe...

Any ideas???

One sheet carefully folded and a few safety pins makes a toga. I saw a cute costume where someone wore a shower cap and a carefully secured extra large towel over a bathing suit, carried a back scrubber and went as just out of the shower. If you have sports paraphanalia around you could go as a sports fan, or a player. Good luck!

Sock Monster!

Dress in something basic and then get one sock from everywhere you can and pin them on you with a few used dryer sheets. Don't forget the one on your head somewhere!

I got a lots of nice comments on it a few years back. Overall's where what I wore...they were easy to pin to.

Totally stole this from some guy named Ryan:

"mop for a wig, + short skirt + taped “Censored” sign across your chest…. you’re “girls gone wild” and it’s a really cheap costume."

LOL.

It occured to me that it doesn't really take much to make cat ears - later. Thinking paper and barettes. BUT my friend called me and told me she had some extra cat ears I could borrow - yay.

Due to the hecticness I didn't get a chance to check in here before the party, BUT I think I could have used your idea. & to remember in the upcoming week if I Can't find my cat ears.

I just wanted to say I saw the funniest costume. There was a girl who was appaently pregnant, though you wouldn't know. I thought she was maybe a playboy bunny or something - sexy outfit, cowboy hat, slippers, I don't know. BUT she was carrying around a baby doll. when I finally got a chance to ask what exactly she was - she said Britney Spears - LOL. Was a good one. I was like, isn't she pregnant? & well, appaently she was too, just couldn't tell. LOL.
