Thumbs up A Happy Realization!

As I was dropping my lastest transactions into their 'cyber envelopes' I realized that Monday is payday. And since it is the 25th pay day (I do my bills monthly) I get to 'fund' all of my envelopes. I scrolled down the 'envelope tree' and noticed that everthing is positive and some even have generous amounts left!!!

I'm doing it! I am staying under budget on everything without even trying anymore!! And this in the time of the year that use to be sooooo hard for me! My car tags...paid....my yearly car insurance...paid...my yearly home owner insurance...paid (this was the first year of me paying it too!!) and I have plenty sent aside for my property taxes too!!!!! (Due in oct)

It just amazed me! It seems like just yesterday (actaully about three years ago) that it was all a mess and it just never seemed to work. Now I just look back and shake my head at myself.

The feeling of relief and happiness at being in control of my money is just undesribable and to think back and know I have made such drastic changes is amazing. I really credit so many things, like this site and others, to the 'reprogramming' of my brain.

I CAN SEE HOPE IN THE FURTURE FOR ME!! I can see me actually able to do the things I dream of and want to do because I control my money, my money does not control me!

Just though I would share my happy realization! Let's hear some of yours!

Well, it is hard for me to believe that we have made so little money in our life, but because we have saved and always had a budget, we are actually pretty comfortable. I mentioned in my blog that I earned $473.34 in my new savings this month. My last job was as a waitress and during a good week (read many double shifts) I would make about $200/ So this interest is like, over two weeks pay for me.

Regarding your cyber envelopes, where you referring to a budgeting software program call Mvelopes from Mvelopes.com?
