Default 501c3

My question has to do with investing money into a 501c3.I am going to puchase a newer truck, truck camper and a trailer for freezer storage, so that I can service wildlife sanctuaries in Colorado,Utah and Wyoming, etc.Basically, transporting donated meat from ,hunting clubs, grocery food chains that donate their freezer burnt meat, and other sources.I have a friend in Colorado who already does this part-time. Would it be in my best interest to devote my time and equipment to her 501c3 or try to qualify myself, as far as reimbursement and tax issues?

Thanks!
