Default How many of you have multiple pets?

Just out of curiosity, how many of you have multiple pets?

We have five indoor cats. They cost a lot but they are totally cheaper than therapy.

tecnically I have two cats..I say only tecnically cause we named em, and we let them eat table scraps, but other than that they are free.

and Fire (the mother) is in the process of chasing off Fraidy (her kitten) so soon we will have one.

I would like to get her fixed..but honestly I fear she will never speak to us again if I do

We have 2 dogs, I would have 12 if my husband would let me. I love dogs. We have an old mutt named Lucy and a 6 year old puppy poodle, named Holly.

Please, please get her fixed! Most counties have a low cost spay program, and they bounce back very quick.

I volunteer at the local pet shelter--I've seen enough to make me willing to get down on my knees and beg people to get their animals fixed!

To answer the OP, we adopted 2 cats. Sometimes I want more, but technically our village only allows you to have a max of two cats and two dogs. I don't see how 4 cats could be more trouble than 2 of each, but I'm afraid we'd get caught and have to give them up.

I have a ten lb, 14 yr old dog named Wolf and two cats. I wouldn't trade them for anything.

We have two dogs (Buford and Chewy - short for Chewbacca) and one cat Ramen (named after the noodles - we found her eating them when we first got her).

We have lots of fish. I think there are currently 14 or 15 in the tank. And they are all related. I lost track, but I know there are at least 4 generations of fish in our tank so all but the original 2 were born and raised in our home.

Several years ago we had 2 Poodles and 2 Chihuahuas all at the same time.
We now only have Belle, a 12 year old Chihuahua.
I would like another dog, and I think Belle may like a pal, but I need to convince my husband.

We have a kitty-girl. Her name is Moorka. She is not completly grown up yet, but too big to be called a kitten.

She eats scraps from our table and some milk. My dd and her like to play together and cuddle. My ds is usually chasing her, so she is trying to stay away from him. Her favorite place to sleep is my computer chair.

We found her on the street in our neighborhood, when me and ds were doing our usual evening walk. She was crying, so I picked her up and took home. When I gave her the food, she was so hungry, and was eating very fast for at least 5 min, then she slowed down. She was very skiny, now she looks much better.

Two Pupsters - but financially I think we are coming to the end of our pet owning days for awhile! Once these dear ones pass away I'm not sure if I'll get another one for quite some time.

I know they are health stabilizers and we'll probaby own more dogs in the future, but the vet envelope needs a breather!

I love my lil'doggies though!!!

The only thing I don't like about owning a dog is the dog hair. Lucy stays outside or in the garage, but it has to be vaccumed daily, she loses so much hair. That is why for over 30 years, we have owned poodles. We get them groomed and they do not shed. I could never live without a dog!

Kind of figured that is what you would have. Lots of people don't like poodles, but they are rated the 2nd smartest dog in all the breeds.

2 cats (formally inside cats, but now barn cats because my husband is allergic to them-but when mice come in, and he's not home....they are indoor cats again-don't tell on me), 5 horses, 2 dogs, fish, 1 hamister, 1 rabbit, and 2 of the cows are kinds of like pets-they think they are anyway and they do get treated a little more special (for 4h cows) than the others.

We had 2 Betta fish, and we just adopted a retired racing greyhound last month - she's 4 years old. She doesn't bark and she doesn't shed
While growing up my family had a miniature collie and 2 cats.
