I agree, good article but as also said not appropriate for this day and age. I could not let someone house sit for me unless it was my family. I would be SO uncomfortable with this. We also don't have public transportation. The world will have to change for it to work. I also have seen mcdonalds throw stuff out, but having worked at one in the past the reason we were given was that after a certain amount of time the food is considered "bad" or a chance of food poisoning will have set in.

I have been on public aid before and it is not the easy ride so many people think that it is. I am not saying that some people act that way and some actually do cheat the system but if you are honest it is not an easy ride. I am no longer on it but still shop at yard sales and good will. I am the opposite, I cannot stand the clothes they sell today. I prefer the older styles. and I am not too old, only 38.
