Default Net10, anybody?

I have been thinking about switching my husband's cell phone service. He
has Verizon. I do not know if it is Verizon, our area, or the fact he works in a big old building with thick walls but he gets dropped calls all the time. We have the smallest plan 250 minutes for $29.99 + taxes. I just looked at his phone usage for the past 6 months. He is only using about 120 minutes/month. I read the Net10 web site- I can buy a year service with 1500 minutes for $150 + the cost of a phone. Looks like a flip phone will cost about $80. So even factoring in the cost of the phone, I would still be paying less than I pay presently. Can anyone comment on Net10? (I have Tracfone and I have been very pleased. I think the two companies area related.) lynclarke

Net10 is owned by tracfone which as nationwide service. I would go with the deal.
