wow, I just delivered a sermon on simplicity.....

a great rainstorm followed by a clear blue sky

that first autumn cold morning when you have to wear a sweater

laying in bed with my sig other laughing and talking

my great pyr and two wierd cats trying to stop our laying in bed by jumping on us

fresh mozzzrella

great music

early morning coffee in the yard

that first Jersey corn on the cobb

a hot shower..ALONE!

watching UE 'scrub the floor' (9 month old copying mommy)

hearing JC tell me "they're gonna do it again next time we watch the movie (2yold, talking about annie)

Hearing GMC read anything and everything. especially when he doesn't know I am listening

5 minutes with DH and no bills, kids or chores!

and more recently, seeing my neighbor do the right thing (15yold)

The ocean and surrounding bays that I see every morning during my commute and pretty much anywhere else I go. It is so calming.

Going for my morning walk by our community pond. I love watching the neighborhood ducks.

A perfect cup of coffee and reading my e-mails or the blogs.

Watching a movie with DH with my terrier cuddling with me in the recliner.

My kids all being home and eating a great meal with them.

Hearing my YD laugh at something. Her laugh is contagious!

Watching my daughters enjoy each other's company.

Looking at pictures of my family.

Reading a good book.

Oh and s** with my DH of almost 28 years. (We are almost empty nesters!)

I love going out to a piece of property we own, it has a beautiful mountain view. I like taking a sandwich and our drinks and sitting there eating dinner and watching the view.

- having a good workout (just did that - I love the sense of accomplishment especially as I didn't want to do it!)
- Watching my 11 year old step daughter (who just came home from overnight camp) ask if she could buy with her own money a gift certificate for her grandfather's birthday to his favourite restaurant.
- Fireflies
- helping a neighbour by walking across the street to tell her in laws that their phone is off the hook and she can't get ahold of them - easing her worry
- good conversation with good friends
- perfect summer days
- September (my favorite month of the year)
- paying our mortgage off (DID THAT YESTERDAY!!!) - ok that wasn't so simple!

It is the tinest of things. Laughter and smiles from my teenager that seems lately to be well.....in love with theis girl! 15 puppy love it is just seeing and feeling there little motions that give me joy! Or the ol'days who knows! LOL Smiling when I see my hubby sharing his intermost thoughts. Watching the birds play in the morning along with the squirrels and nature just fits doesn't compete. My furbabies snuggling with me and staying by my side on a bad day. Kind of like they are saying (It is ok mom) (lean on me) Being blessed by God and getting a one way ticket up-stairs.....I could go on and on but it get mushier./
