where is that 20.00 a day thread

sorry- I'm new, I looked for about 5 pages- couldn't find it. I read in the "spend nothing for a week" thread something about a 20.00 challenge. Could someone link me please??

Marcy, I will look for it and bring it to the top. It is not $20 a day. You start with $20 and think of ways you can add to it. For me, When I walk a mile, I add a dollar. If I do 20 flights of stairs, I add a dollar. I take all savings using coupons and my Ingles advantage card and add it to the $20 challenge. If I stay home all day, using no gas, I add a dollar. If I sell something or have a garage sale, I add that money.
Any rebates or checks get added to the challenge. I save all my change in a jar and add it in once a month. Some people sell on e bay.
Anything that you can do to save extra money is added to the challenge. You can start anytime and make up your own rules. I have over $10,000 in my challenge money so far.
