you're the only one who knows how you feel and it is completely up to you but i will mention i bought a similar dress (same hemline and cut but different neckline) at a yard sale only it was in shades of blue with bits of purple and maybe green in it... and it was only $0.75.... i only wore it 3 times and then i sold it for $0.50...
you really should check out the thrift stores as i've seen some great stuff there.... my SIL bought one of the neatest dresses i've seen there for $10... |

I don't spend 100 dollars a year on clothes total much less for one purchase. I admit I am a SAHM and if I was in the business world I might pay more but then again a few standards items a year and mix and match would be my style. for dressy or formal I would keep a couple basics and accessorize.
