I thik my husband would continue to build houses, but only houses he built to sell, he would take no more custom houses will all the pressure. He works 7 days a week, now and he is under pressure constantly to get these houses done so the people can move into them.
I think maybe we would take a few weeks off and take a vacation! Might even take off thnksgiving day instead of working. the only Holiday my husband takes off is christmas. |

I would take care of my neices so that they woudn't have to go to day care while my sisters worked. If I didn't have to work, I might even have a couple of kids myself.
I would also travel internationally as much as I could. |

I would still need to keep myself busy with projects, but I'd spend as much time as possible with my 2 little girls. They'll only be young once.

Spend more time on savingadvice.com
![]() Actually, I would probably stay home and play with my boys all day. Then think about having another kid or two. |

I don't think anyone would want to be idle. I just would like my husband to be able to work less. Yes, we see each other and talk more than most couples. We sit together and talk all night on our '"dates" I have made it a point, and it might seem stupid to most of you, but when my dh comes home and showers, we stay in the same room together the rest of the night. No, him watching tv and me talking on computers in different rooms. We spend all of his free time together. (joined at the hip, you could say)
We always sit next to each other when we eat. |

I hang out on frugal living web sites.
Ima's right, though. The challenge of financial freedom (retirement in my case) to time management. We're so used to having our days structured by the work environment that autonomy can be disorientlng. I picked up a part-time job, do some volunteer work, and maiintain an active social life, but that still leaves me with unstructured time. Some of it goes into maintaining my home and into personal care. Some of it is devoted to hobbies and interests. And I'm learning to cultivate the art of the nap. ![]() |

I don't think that I would want to stay still either. I need to work in some capacity, not just because of income, but because it gives me a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction for a job well done. On the other hand, I wouldn't mind taking some time off for a short while, and maybe take a short trip somewhere, or finally get around to designing and building a dream house some day.... |

Yes, that sounds like fun! I just don't want to get like my FIL. He sits and stares at tv all day and all night. I actually think it would be fun to build dream houses, live in them 2 years, sell and not have to pay taxes on the profits. I guess I would get good at moving!!

I would spend more time playing my guitar by taking lessons and instruction. I would also pursue a degree in theology and volunteer to teach bible courses.

I would probably go back to school and get a degree in finance. Become a proffesional investor or financial planner and help people acheive what I have.

I would go to the beach more often, do some home renovation on the things I can do with my skills, design clothes for people with limited mobility(wheel chairs for an example),Add more flowers and veggies to the garden, cook gourmet dinner for bf, do some volunteer work around the church, visit friends, have children, enjoy the sunsets, read many books, travel overseas for missionary work and provide schools and languages to the deaf that are cast away from the general society in some countries, fly often to visit family or pay them to fly and see me, .... Really I can go on and think many things. I have so many gifts and talents that I would never run out of things to do...... Oh yeh! get my masters in Occupational Therapist.
Oh how I wish this could come true! |

Home school my CJ in the mornings, then work part-time while he is in part-time school outside the home. I'm the type that has to work or teach CJ to feed my head...I wouldn't last long with nothing to do all day.

Same as I do now, but I am a boring person, All I do is teach now, all I would do then is teach..though it would be more fun to teach with DH more often (he is the wage earner) but not all day, He would write still.

Well, I would love to go dancing more often. We use to have a brown bag place that had a live band on Sat. nights, but it closed down. I guess my ideal town would be a little town with a honky tonk place!!

I would have time to leisurley enjoy my morning coffee with my DH, while getting our son ready for school. Then I would go to the gym for an hour or two. Garden a little. Clean the house. Plan our next vacation. Spend time visiting with my grandparents. Cook amazing meals and relax in the evenings with my family. Maybe go out to dinner twice a week. Agree to be the team mom for my sons football team. Coach his soccer team again in the spring.
Don't worry about me I would find plenty of things to do. |

I'd volunteer at the zoo and perhaps at the United Way and give them help.
I'd also spend a heck of a lot of time playing video games. Pat |

I think I would build my own place to dance and hire a live band!!
