Voter lottery... is it a good idea?
Arizona is considering a proposal to boost turnout during elections by awarding a $1 million prize to one randomly selected voter, just for casting a ballot.

It would be nice to win...but I think it's an insult to americans. It just shows the greed and apathy of the american people if it takes the government basically bribbing the citizens to get them to vote.

Hmmm...wonder what kind of voters will this lottery bring out? Probably not the most informed ones...I wonder how many people will be going and pulling any old lever just for a chance at the cash.
