What's your financial fitness?
Take this quiz and find out!
I got a 77. Decent, but disappointing at the same time. I think the only reason why I didn't get higher is because I'm not at the stage that some of the things they quizzed on yet. Also, I don't do one of the questions (setting deadline goals) because I simply try to reach my financial goals as quickly as I can.
Anyways, what score did you get?
edit: I took a look at the quiz again, and I think what killed me was the lack of emergency funds. I took most of it and socked it at my student loans. I hope to take this quiz again some time later and get a much better score.

93 but I am still working on my 3 months emergency fund.
I don't know if this was cheating but I said I pay my cc's in full but actually I don't have any.

Hey. I dont feel bad... Some of those things I just cant help...plus since Im so young things could change drastically (I could be working FT in 4 years if I dont get into Pharm school, or I may be dirt poor in school, who knows)

Re: What's your financial fitness?
Ninety. Gotta get the goals on paper. And diversify beyond mutual funds. Does it count if some of the funds are mainly bond funds?? I'm not going to run out and get a CD just to improve the score. I get the basic concept. Maybe cash under the mattress.

Sure bond funds count, they are different than stock funds!

Yup, I realize now I should have answered yes to that question!
Congrats on your century, Ima!
Has anyone done the Jump$tart financial literacy test that high school kids took a few months ago and most of them failed? I didn't get a perfect score on that one either.

Re: What's your financial fitness?
I got a 60.
At least I know what I need to work on... what cost me points was not having 3 months of expenses, carrying a credit card balance, and not having anything other than my employer's 401k for retirement. All of these things I already knew I need to fix. I figure I'm not doing horribly for a 24 year old. I do own my own home and have taken a second job to help save up 3 months expenses and get out of debt.

Re: What's your financial fitness?
61..terrible
but same problem, I don't have a whole month yet...
or a will..yet
or life insurance..yet
or a written goal plan..prolly cause I don't like being disapointed..so I don't write it down...

Re: What's your financial fitness?
92 here. It was the writing down of goals that brought my score down. If the question was do you write or have pictures of your goals then I would have been fine.
Am very happy with the results as they are anyway.
